UCM License Plates

Ride With UCM Pride! The “Fighting Mule” license plate is available to all alumni, students, parents, fans and friends who have registered Missouri vehicles and have made a donation of $25 or more to the UCM Alumni Foundation.  You can order custom UCM plates anytime, regardless of your current plate’s expiration date.

 

Four Easy Steps to Apply for Your UCM License Plate:

1. Make your tax-deductible gift at ucmfoundation.org/give or via mail to the UCM Alumni Foundation (minimum $25 for one year or $50 for a two-year tag).
2. Call 660-543-8000 or email us at giving@ucmo.edu to request your Emblem Use Authorization Statement (must be used within six weeks of your gift date).
3. Visit your local license bureau to complete an Application for Missouri Personalized and Special License Plates (Form 1716).*
4. Wait for your local license bureau to notify you that your plates are ready for pickup!
   

 

*You can order anytime, regardless of your current plate’s expiration date. The process for obtaining your custom plate from the Missouri Department of Revenue can take 6–8 weeks. If your registration becomes due during this process, you will need to renew as usual and transfer tags when your custom plates arrive. This process must be repeated every time the specialty license plate registration is renewed.
