Amanda Lotspeich, ’07
Founder, Lotspeich Law, LLC

Amanda Lotspeich, a UCM alumna and member of the UCM Alumni Board of Directors, has built her career on service, leadership and a deep connection to her community.

After graduating from UCM, Amanda pursued a path in law with a focus on helping individuals navigate complex and often emotional life transitions. That purpose led her to found Lotspeich Law in Warrensburg, a boutique family law firm focused on divorce, custody and high-stakes family matters across Central Missouri.

Today, her firm is known for its intentional, client-centered approach — maintaining a limited caseload to ensure every case receives thorough preparation, strategic advocacy and personalized attention during some of life’s most important decisions.

Carl McCargo, ’13
Founder, Track Barn

From student-athlete to entrepreneur, Carl McCargo turned his passion for track and field into a growing business.

A transfer student from Riverside City College in California, Carl was a decathlete for UCM Track and Field. He began his career in coaching and equipment sales before launching Track Barn in 2019 — starting in his garage with a single custom backpack. What began as a small idea has grown into a trusted name in the track and field community.

Track Barn helps teams across the country design custom uniforms and gear, while also operating a marketplace featuring major track and field brands. With year-round team stores and direct-to-athlete fulfillment, Track Barn supports both performance and community.

A 2004 Construction Management graduate, Patrick started by performing with small local bands before launching the Patrick Lentz Band. What began as a single group has grown into Patrick Lentz Entertainment—a full-scale event company featuring multiple bands that travel nationwide.

Today, his company is known for delivering high-energy live performances and event experiences. With industry recognition like The Knot’s “Best of Weddings” (three years in a row) and millions of streams online, Patrick has built a brand that is consistent, creative and community-focused.
